EBS Marine Fuel Systems

  • HSD B35 fuels have extremely high levels of microbial growth & sludge
  • Without proper treatment = high engine filter use, poor engine combustion, low power, high exhaust emissions, fuel system failures, early engine failures (‘blow-by’ with soot/fuel)
  • EBS modular fuel conditioning systems include water separation, 2 stage membrane filtration & magnetic electro radiation device to kill microbial growth
  • The membrane filters can handle fuel flows 50 – 250 times engine consumption & given this, can run with low cost 1µm filters that will not slow down fuel flow
  • They have alert panels that can be remotely mounted to tell crews when to change filters & each of the two housings can be bypassed, so filters can be changed while engines still run
